Today, I started to help a friend to begin the claim process. He is a Vietnam Vet, and I was brainstorming to develop a course of action. This video was an answer to prayer. I’m looking forward to your next video.

It helps too if you are computer savvy. You setup your VA user account and are able to upload your own files. Sometimes that means having a scanner to scan that paper into a pdf format so it can be uploaded. Decades ago everything was paper-based so a lot of Vets may have folders of paperwork and that can take time to scan in. I would not rely totally on a VA rep (at the VA) to handle that. They may mean well, but no one can go that extra step for you better than YOU. I have started this claim process as well and I am a retired IT guy so the technical stuff I can do myself so that helps a lot but I feel for some of these guys who are not IT savvy and they have to rely on someone else who may not be computer savvy as well. Thank you! I have been working to get all my diagnosis formally shown with the VA. Multiple Sclerosis has been reduced on one occasion. Sleep apnea, vertigo, tendinitis , dry mouth. I have all it none with the VA for years. If they deny it I will be reaching out to your firm for assistance.

I was hurt on a fire base in Vietnam struck in the back by a wooden ammo box broke a rib x-rays show there was a break I now have spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease I had a neck surgery and to lower back surgeries I filed a claim years ago they denied me said that had nothing to do with my condition is there any way I can find help to research if an injury such as that would cause these conditions

Hello In one of your videos it was said if we have any questions just ask. I’m a Nam Vet expose to Agent Orange starting a new claim online. I have been diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertension, AFIB as well as Erratic Heart Beat. So my question is what do I put for the main disability and if there is a second disability caused by the main disability? I have Obstructive sleep apnea as well as others. Thank you in advance Ken

What if your medical records cannot be found? I tried finding them from multiple sources to include national archives and all I get back is a copy of my DD214. I served in the 1970s as a 2/75 Ranger, and hurt my ankles on a parachute jump and knee at Ranger School. I'm currently rated at 40% disability due to arthritis and hearing loss.

Re apply at national archives and in the comment box give them approx dates location

I’ve got a good question for anybody or Hill&Ponton . My question is I use VA healthcare and have for like 11-12 yrs and 80%serv. Conn. I just got approved for SSD and they sent me a Medicare pamphlet and card the pamphlet is kind of vague whether or not I can deny part B and keep using my VA. I did read that if I wait and want later I have to pay a penalty forever. Even if I come in at a general enrollment period is this true ? Or can I deny and enroll later if needed pay regular amount.
