They’re not the only financial institution she’s given speeches to. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
"Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders this week assailed rival Hillary Clinton for taking large speaking fees from the financial industry since leaving the State Department.
According to public disclosures, by giving just 12 speeches to Wall Street banks, private equity firms, and other financial corporations, Clinton made $2,935,000 from 2013 to 2015...
Clinton’s most lucrative year was 2013, right after stepping down as secretary of state. That year, she made $2.3 million for three speeches to Goldman Sachs and individual speeches to Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Investments, Apollo Management Holdings, UBS, Bank of America, and Golden Tree Asset Managers.
The following year, she picked up $485,000 for a speech to Deutsche Bank and an address to Ameriprise. Last year, she made $150,000 from a lecture before the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.”*

Even scrutiny from sympathetic people like Bill Maher makes Bernie look bad. Even though Bill Maher supports him, he accidentally stumped Bernie by asking him how many Americans would have their taxes raised to make public universities tuition-free. When Bernie went into his shtick about the 1% paying their fair share, Bill interrupted and said it would surely require raising taxes on more then just the 1%. Bernie then stuttered like a fool for several seconds and finally said some would have higher taxes but not all. An economic genius he is not.

Due largely to the integrity of Bernie, partially people becoming more aware of big money corruption in politics and also partly because of Hillary's own lies and misdeeds coming back to haunt her. She should resign from running for the nomination and from politics, it's not like she needs the money anyway.

What Cenk is mostly talking about here are not "donations" but moneys paid to her personally after she left the senate, so there was nothing to vote on. The bankers were making a down payment on services HRC would perform for them after she became president.

HRC ninjas are at this moment working on ways to release a sanitized version of her speeches or come up with how they have disappeared. We need to be prepared to ask for the originals/unadulterated versions as soon as she gives up. Meanwhile, we need to keep up the pressure on her to try and force a release before they have finalized there tactics for their release. Please every show, for all progressive venues, demand their release. We need all progressive platforms to "sign the pledge". When she says "I'll release mine blah, blah,blah", keep asking why? If you got nothing to lose why? "because it's unfair boohoo!" Why, you could be the leader of a new trend! "but, but,.." Why? why? why? Don't forget that she probably didn't make her own way to those speeches. She almost inevitably used her official car and security to get there, so she should at the least reimburse the cost of those services to the public exchequer.

In my business, i'm not even allowed to give government clients a bottle of scotch or carton of beer at Christmas or take them out for a meal at the end of a contract these days, as that could appear to be garnering favour.
