@moronbrothersKY I sure hope you boy's are still doing well, love the boat it's fantastic and then some, the wife and I had a 15 ft jon boat and we were on the withlacoochee river at least 5 days a week, camping, fishing, swimming, finding arrowheads, catching turtles, and just plain having fun, it is totally stress free and I highly recommend it to folks out there in need of an escape from this new reality, God bless you boy's and thank you.

Proud to see Kentucky so highly presented in it's more laid back lifestyle. Wish to be with you and out from under the thumb here in Michigan. And joy of joy, my west Tennessee wife agrees. At 74 & 70 we're ready to float through retirement and fish it out, whatever that turns out to be.

Yeah! I love these Guys. My Kids tried to have me committed the first time I hung a broken couch in a tree and used it as a swing. But I just smiled and said come on board try it before you bash it. It don't snow much in Texas , so when it did I hitched up a truck hood to my tractor and drug the kids around the place for hours, at least until my wife came back from town. Yep I build equipment for the semiconductor industry but my roots are firmly planted in the souls of the Moron Brothers. Making do with what God gives you.

My grandfather and I built a shanty boat kind of like that before my dad was born.

As a kid, I spent thousands of hours on these boats. I was from Frankfort Ky before it was a city. There were a hundred boats like these on the Kentucky River. We caught fish and sold them to people coming from church on Sunday. I lived in a shack about 3 miles away. By lock #4 I think it was. In the 1970s the government took over all the rivers and made everyone get off the river and out of whatever you had built yourself. They bulldozed everything for progress.
