Nina Simone was a legendary American singer/songwriter. She recorded the song Feelin’ Good that Gorran sang, and many others. Love The Big Push! Thanks for the reaction. Check out Praise You(Fat Boy Slim cover) and Bongo Bong(Manu Chao cover). ☮️❤️😎

Hi Ramsey Lewis did wade in the water 1966 on chess records out of Chicago IV never liked his version but I love Rens one as with every cover REN does iprefer to the original so far the is no exception to that . All the best dave

I understand why Gorran wanted to fix that strap. Those boys had expensive instruments and he knew Ren was going to take both hands off sooner or later.

Wade in the Water and Trouble So Hard are anon 19th early 20th century? African American folk songs. Nina Simone was the writer of Feelin' Good. Stopping by to correct myself. Actually, no she didn't. Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse wrote it as part of a musical.

@@HanginwithHillbilly Nina was an interesting artist. She had a classically trained voice and a through grounding in jazz. Brilliant, political and a touch mad. I can understand why Ren loved her work.
