Top 10 HillClimb Monsters || Rampa da Falperra 2019

Last weekend was held on Braga, Portugal, the mythic Rampa da Falperra one of the oldest and most unique Hillclimb events of the European Hillclimb Racing Championship. As usual, many Monsters were present and this time even some All Time Records were beaten.
That was exactly the case among the Touring Car presents, where the old Georg Plasa record was finally beaten. Among various GT3 spec machines, DTM monsters, AWD cars with thier base on Rallying and more, find out out who was fastest. Historically fastest on this very case...

IMHO.....I dont know why,but i love seeing lambo huracan in this kind of event,it blend naturally with racing environtment....rather than seeing it with some kind excotic paint/warp like chromy purple or green and just sitting in a couple of car meet,like a show off guys.....

That Audi is fantastic. Came in like 300kg lighter than almost all the others too. Edit: I spoke before I saw that Mercedes-Judd. Holy shit.

Another fantastic Top 10 from you.Those are becoming my favorite.And what a collection of cars.Speaking of them,my favorites are Fombona's,Vitver's and Meisel's cars while among drivers i find Fombona's performance the most impressive-in late 60's and still able to drive on such a high level.For that,nothing but utmost respect.

Something about N/A engines, so much more exciting than any turbo engines, regardless of pace. And that audi, absolutely disgusting 👌

I actually prefer the turbo sounds, but most of those are modern crap sounding cars... Audi Quattro S1 Group B kills them all, Sound from hell!!!! But I really like the Mercedes Judd sound

The TT is more impresive than the slk only slightly slower being less powerful and heavier. And the engine is not from another world.

I'm glad Reto Meisel finally got the Judd singing and leaving some carbon footprint both on the road and the air. Lambo was also worth watching more than a few times, especially 9:08 - 9:11

New livery for the Judd?

On Falperra and Fito ( the Portuguese an Spanish rounds of the European HillClimb Championship) the SLK has a special sonsor whixh provides a different livery for both rounds. Other than that it uses now a Black/Red livery which was debuted on Rechberg one month ago ( you can check it on on our Top 10 vid of that race).

Não é bem um R5. Este tem motor 2000cc, em vez do 1600cc dos R5. Também tem mais cerca de 170hp do que um R5 comum...para não dizer que foi o carro campeão do CNM no ano passado. Excelente carro para Hillclimb!

Wait a minute.... these cars, at least 3 of them, HAVE to be detuned. An AMG twin turbo only making 500 hp? And a stock McLaren 650s has more than 550 hp. Pretty sure at least 1 of the Porsches had to be detuned as well. They have to do this for certain climbs?

It has to do with the Classes where each are in. The AMG GT is a GT4 car, while the Porsches and the McLaren are GT3 cars. The power figures are correct on all instances.

@@acesneights1130 it can be a bit confusing for sure and even more now as the rules on European HillClimb Racing wil be changing for next year. If you want to know more about it, search for Performance Factor FIA HillClimb and you will discover a lot about the new set of rules coming ;)
