Some of the best Hillclimb Monsters using Wankel engines. From Mazda RX-7´s, to the classic RX-3, to the more modern RX-8, and featuring some unusual swaps like an Escort Mk1 and a Mazda 3 MPS.
Pure Rotary sound in both Turbocharged and Naturally Aspirated Form, and 13B (2 rotor) and 20B (3 rotor) configurations.

The amazing rotary engine, this engines comfort zone is in the high rpm's. This engine kills itself if you drive it like a granny and when you don't give it the right amount of maintenance. A proper tune and a modified cooling system and a suitable driving style in combination with the right amount of correct maintenance keeps the rotary going for many years.

@White Lives Matter that last part..the 12a is a really hard mltor to brake. It can take alot of abuse, ik because i have one for a toy and it has never ever let me down..original motor and drivetrain well over 300k, clutch amd starter is all ive ever had to changed. Besides basic tune up..which is under 100 bucks.

RWD cars can't hang anymore with the current breed of AWD monsters. An AWD RX-9 hybrid group C racecar would be mind-blowing, but there's no way Mazda will build it with their current economic climate. Their CEO stabbed all of Mazda's sportscar fans in the collective heart/genitals about that a few years back, look at the interview around the time talk started picking up about the '16x', the prototype for the next-gen Wankel the company blue balls'd us with for years. I doubt there's enough room in the regs. for it, either, don't know how hybrids might fit into rally.

rotary engine are all about the high revving life and there racing history they aren’t meant to be taken lightly at all in anyway. these cars are race cars no matter the power out out of 180hp or 2000hp . these are engine to have a good time not a long time (unless you build an efficient one) but in most cases these are meant to be tortured and rebuilt like legos. and they have such a addictive characteristic that you can’t get bored of.

I worked at Chrysler engineering and we had a rotary Simca 4dr. Sedan tiny European vehicle and it was about 1969 . Ran petty good when there was no added weight to the car.

Based on the Nissan GTR we have a Prototype with a Full Carbon Body. The 2 E-Motors are not implemented at this stage and we are working hard to get this done. I am a Assistant Mechanic. i'm only work on my free weekends on the E-GTR H Project.
