Got the same Forman ES bought it new. Never ever had a problem with the electric shift. I’ve ridden on the state trail for 12 hrs multiple times never had a shift issue. Wouldn’t try and fix something that isn’t broken. These Formans are a great utility quad and will do serious hills, mud, and water. I’ve rolled mine plenty of times other then ripped plastics some dents in the front plate runs like the day I bought it now 17yrs later. Do the maintenance oil changes plugs filters, carb tuneups it will run forever. Just an awesome reliable 4X4 Did I mention how much fun in the snow or whipping around in two wheel drive. Now you got me thinking of black and yellow looked pretty good.
