Taking these machines out for the slope/hill test is next level professionalism, and something more dealers should be doing. Very helpful.

Own a GR I've had for years and it will absolutely go anywhere , I've had people video taping me all the time. I now added a bx but I still don't know how much it can do yet. I set on the fender to go steeper on some yards I do for customers.

Mow a real slope for Pete’s sake!

The Cub Cadet PRO series wins the slope contest hands down in our book. Our 560 PRO S model w/60" deck mows some serious inclines with no issues of slip and sliding at all.

Tires make a difference as well! look at the other two with turf tires compared to the Pro Z! By the way I'm the new owner of a Pro Z 960S with turf tires and it will mow that incline with no problem! My Spartan KGXD as well! That Cub 960SD will handle a 46 degree grade or 25 % by spec. The steering wheel make it a lot easier on a Cub with limited experience. But I would not recommend anybody without experience and knowledge to hit the hill right out of the shoot with there new machine!!!

Would be great to hear more information about the Kubota gr tractor line. I don't see many in my area. Everyone including myself either run the John Deere or cub cadet for the most part. Was wondering if the GR series has hydraulic down pressure on say a snow blade like the 700 series John Deere or does it just float like a gx345. What attachments can you use and how well do they work. Wonder if you could fit Carlisle all trail tires on and if so would it have a better traction advantage

That’s funny I live in Vermont as a lawn care business. I mow hills and banks steeper than that everyday with a Toro zero turn. It’s all in how you mow. Slipping and leaving skid marks are because the poeple operator them hasn’t been trained well. We also use stand on’s which are even better.

How do you determine slope degree ?
