I used to hate Christian contemporary, even after I was saved. But I really understand why it's such an amazing thing and why we should be grateful for it. The crowd is singing along even more passionately than at the best rock shows I've been to, but it's not to praise and worship the egos of selfish mortals; they are all there praising the one God, and you can almost feel him smiling back at them. It's a very unifying moment to witness.

My dream is to play music in a band like this. In front of crowds like this. Filled with God's people.

*One day I was sitting on the street unemployed with my head racing, my daughter was about to be born, I had no prospect of any life, I was dreaming of being able to buy her first clothes, suddenly a friend of mine was arriving from work with his badge under my neck hung, at that moment I looked at my friend, closed my eyes and spoke to God using all my faith, I spoke like this...Mr my daughter is about to be born, open the doors of employment for me, he (God) was so merciful with me that even though I didn't deserve it, he helped me... on the same day another friend of mine told me.... I spoke to the foreman and he told you to register tomorrow, I'll never forget this day, I'll never forget how much great is the power of God over our lives.*

I never get tired of this song... it's just... so powerful and touching. I close my eyes and listen to it, feels like i'm in Father's arms.

To all who are interested, I just became a Christian in March of 2015 and I am looking for ways to keep my relationship with the Lord strong. I feel that I need to read and pray more, as well as learn more about our savior in any way possible. I cheated death today after being involved in a major car accident, I shouldn't be alive typing but I am. Entire car I was in got totaled, if someone had been riding in the front passenger seat they wouldn't be alive. Everything was smushed in except where I was sitting, God was definitely watching over me and gave me a second chance to chance and live for him and I am here to testify that God really does love us and cares about us, Thank You Lord for this blessing of being able to walk away with only cuts and bruises. I was a chain smoking, drug addicted drunk before I came to the Lord. Looking back on my baptism, I was so sick in the soul. But I gave my life to Christ and He broke all my chains. I am sober from everything now. I asked Him when I first came to Him that I was hungry for His Word and I wanted to know it to share. and He answered my prayer. I don't have to worry about death anymore. I know my name is written in that Lamb's book of life and I know that i know THAT I KNOW that I will see my Lord face to face. Thanks be to God everlasting!
