I'm not religious. At all. But when I went through Air Force basic training, I attended the Christian service every Sunday. The band would play this song & it would make me (as well as EVERYONE else) so emotional. I actually like it!

Hosanna is a word used in some songs of praise, particularly on Palm Sunday. It is of Hebrew origin and was part of the shout of the multitudes as Jesus entered Jerusalem: “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!” (Matthew 21:9).

I bought the DVD version which has also a preaching done by Ptr. Phil Dooley. I was still in High school that time. This by far, is one of the songs that marked Brooke's balanced lyrics. I appreciate the studio version as well because she's allowed to make it a spontaneous song in the end.

Yes, @Lucas. It's that part where she took from Hebrews 12. It's a good additional/continuation/spontaneous-esque lyrics, as it calls for everyone to run the race in declaring Jesus is Lord. Again im emphasizing on balanced lyrics. Cool to meet some of my fellow generations here.
