It’s for overhead work. It won’t work for your application.

The more I see this the more I want it! Do they ever end up touching behind your back? and if not, what's the minimum distance between them?

Yes, they can touch behind your back if you try. But when your arms are rested to their sides or up overhead they don't.

At first I thought I couldn’t afford it. Now I don’t see how I could be without it. It keeps me working after having both shoulders replaced.

Can this be used as a single arm setup? I completely destroyed my shoulder in marine corps and now after multiple surgeries I have zero strength overhead in my dominant arm.
@HiltiNorthAmerica
@HiltiNorthAmerica 10 ай бұрын
Hi Silvernail, thanks for the question. Each arm is independently managed. For example, you could have more tension on the right arm than the left, or only engage the dominant arm if the other is not doing overhead work. The choice is yours.

My shoulders have both been replaced after a law enforcement accident. Now retired I do construction and it is a game changer. I paid out of pocket and it was worth every penny. You will get a benefit in both arms but mostly the injured arm. God bless oorah!

What I absolutely love about this is they completely show the realism of a white guy who does absolutely nothing on site getting the most expensive sh!t to make the 2hrs of work he does easier lmao.

I am real world. Both shoulders replaced. I can caulk, paint, insulate and install trim overhead with far less pain and degradation to shoulders. Worry’s every penny.

Products like this actually are worse, instead you need to workout and build strength in your muscles ;)
@asterlofts1565
@asterlofts1565 Жыл бұрын
I don't think so... the problem is not that you need more muscles or not... the problem is that human resistance has a limit not only on how much weight to carry, but for how long, what type of load it is, at what height and what conditions, etc.... and let's not forget that someone who practices physical exercises does not mean that they can do a better job than a construction man because the physical activity or activities carried out are not the same, remember that more force and muscles does not mean more resistance. And furthermore, in the event that these workers could actually do physical exercises, would they have the time and the necessary strength after a tiring day at work to do even more stressful and heavy exercise for just a few muscles? I don't believe it. In addition, these exoskeleton do not replace human muscles or strength, they help and complement each other against accidents at work caused by excess weight or very dangerous activities in general for workers in certain things, such as exhausting and very uncomfortable positions for the human body that would harm them in the long term.

It doesn't take away all of your strength, just lightens your arms. You also have to balance how much you wear it.

Try to keep your hand above head for half an hour, than imagine doing it 6 hours a day, every day.

Whoever says something like that has clearly never actually spent a single day doing strenuous overhead work, let alone a career.

@@asterlofts1565When I started construction I was benching 315 and couldn't hold up a piece of drywall. It's definitely a way different muscle group.
