Awesome video mate, your attention to detail is second to none. Love that you’re actually thinking about the engineering of each component rather than sticking shit together and having to cut it all up later

just a little tip i got told from an old timer, anything endge that is to be welded that has been plasma cut or laser cut should be die grinded to leave a fresh surface from slag, it makes a big difference in the weld result

He’s 100% right it leaves a nitrate finish and when you weld to it your basically welding to a layer. Both alloy and mild steel I will always finish and clean the edge back to raw. Except when I laser parts. Great tip for people that don’t know 🤟🏻
