There are several items available for Himalayan and the prise also varies on various factors, such as bulk buyers, Powder coating vs normal paint, self fitting or with paid fitting. The manufacturers advised me not to add cost, hence I did not. You can directly contact them for the prises.

My first Motor bike was a Yamaha 2stroke Rx 100 and than i owned a Yamaha RXZ 2 Stroke 5speed after the company stoped it's manufacturing I owned A pulsar 180 but after the Royal Enfield gave birth to Himalayan I was realy stunted to look at it wow what a Bike soo much superiorly designed realy I want to own it at my earliest and have a long adventure ride on it as riding is my passion.

You were missing three things which are absolutely required for biking in Himalayas 1. Master Cylinder Guard 2. Radiator Guard 3. Fluid Box Guard (For plastic container on the rear right end of bike) Apart from this, the lights should have been mounted near the front fender so that the light beams lighten the area in the direction of handle board. Ma'am all the modifications seems to be nice except the front focusing lights, they seems to be higher and will surely distract the vehicles coming from opposite direction. On roads to ladak they could be deadly. Please change their position. Wish you a happy journey for the upcoming trip.

Thanks for your feedback Arlo... Most of my audience is Hindi speaking Indians. Hence I chose this Hindi as my preferred language. The Himalayan produces enough power for its size. For mirrors of a different bike, dose it require any additional fitting to be installed?? Like u had mirrors of Bajaj Avenger, so did u need any additional fitting for that or it simply fit with the existing setup??

Very good modifications madam. But I think not apt for a leh expedition . It seems like an advertisement vedio. Not purpose oriented. Basically for leh expedition we need a can holder / Jerry can for petrol storage. 1. Saddle stay. A movable saddle stay like this is not a strong companion for leh expedition considering the road condition. I think ledakh carrier is best.it also possess can holder. 2. Yezdi handle is a little bit relaxation giving factor. But I think the master piece of Himalayan - stand up and ride- in the off roads should be comprised for a average heighted person( about 5.5 to 6.5 feet ). Through out the leh expedition we certainly depend upon stand up and ride- posture. So yezdi handle is not a wise alteration . 3. Halogen bulb. Already we have a stationary light which didn't turn with handle(headlight). Placing the halogen on bottom of front shake absorb will be a more better idea. Instead of halogen , fog lamps can be used since a lot of fog and mist is there. 4. Changing rear view mirror is a better idea but not due to looseness but for a wider view. Stock mirror give a low visibility. 5. Crash guard good idea. But giving a little more height will work as crash guard else it is only a engine guard. Legs are precious. 6. Plastic boxes are not recommended for such a heavy off-road , river crossings . 7. Extra cables are always welcome 8. Handle indicators are good. 9.flag pole is just good. 10. Printing a map on the tank will be a little bit use ful. 11. Water holders are always welcome. 12.if possible I recommend re off-road exhaust(old one) 13. Learn to tight fork , chain ,and puncture. “an advertisement vedio. Not purpose oriented”. (I fail to understand your logic behind this comment). Any way let me elaborate and respond to your concerns. 1) Fuel capacity of Himalayan is 15 liters. This bike gives an approximate 35 mileage. So a full tank gives a range of 525 kms. In India fuel pumps are not SO far placed that one needs to carry fuel. These jerry cans are rarely used. So it’s a waste of money. 2) A movable saddle stay : The Himalayan Tribe (India’s Biggest Himalayan Owners) group highly recommends to use the Donowyn saddle strays. The second most popular is Hard pannier boxes. And after Leh-Ladakh ride I can confidently say that Donowyn saddle strays are value for money. Ledakh carrier are ugly and are of no use after Ladakh Ride. 3) Yezdi handle - No Its not Yezdi handle bar. In India this is popularly known as “RD350 Handle bar” The same design can be found on Honda crf250x or Kawasaki KLX 110 or KTM 150 sx. The wide handlebars and raised position helped me a lot during the bad patches of Zojila Pass, Rohtang Pass, Chang La Pass. 4) Considering the amount of dirt and mud the front wheels splashes during rain; Placing the halogen on shock absorber would be a bad idea, very bad idea. Even if the main headlanp is stationary on Himalayan, the halogen lamps gives a huge focused lights right where its needed the most. So I can say this from experience that the light placement was perfect. 5) Stock mirror - The rod that connects the mirror to the handle is very thin, just 6 mm thickness. The Avenger mirrors use a 10mm thick rod and yes the stock mirrors have poor visibility and they share like crazy at higher speed. 6) Almost all the crash guards in market are ONLY crash guards. The one designed by Hemant works both as crash guard and Leg-Protector. On top of that he has added crash bobbins (White) on the ends of these crash guards. When the bike falls down the ONLY part that touches the ground is the crash bobbins. While on other crash guards, the paint gets peeled off. 7) The Tail box is sitting on top of the bike. That’s the last thing that will ever touch the ground in case of fall. Also it’s a hardened plastic. Equally hard, but also light weight. Also its practically waterproof. I kept my laptop, DSLR Camera and cell phone is it during my Leh-Ride. 8) Extra cable was installed, Luckily I never had to use it :P 9) Flag pole was not part of my plan. I added it at the last time as it was a gift. 10) “Printing a map on the tank”-no I had Tank bag on my Himalayan. 11) Water holders - The Saddle bags had two pouches for keeping water bottles of 2 liters each. 12) Off-road exhaust The stock exhaust is great and I didn’t see any reason to change it.
