Education is Important in India.. it's compulsory for every Children.. We also crossed rivers in Rainy Days. We rural Area people know importance of Study. It's Adventurous to reach school.. Urban Area Students don't know this life, they only know how to sit inside VAN. We also studied with help of lantern flame in school days.. It's a awesome moment what we experienced.. Now I am a Scientist.

Watching this , and listening to their story is an inspiration. I can't imagine many children in this country taking this length of journey to school ........... Unless they were transported by car . As a consequence we have so little physical exercise during school years , little wonder obesity is escalating amongst the population , and education is little appreciated by many , so sad .

Naomi - Its not respect this is how failed governments work they claim big big things in media and spread great things about them but reality in this world is the man who was a Tea maker became Prime Minister is hell bent to make every tea maker and his propoganda is everything is platinum since i became prime minister my name is Narendra Modi. Reality in wolrd is the more you are challeneged the more you work hard and then you shine like never before so world remembers you as how wolrd remebmbers somebody like Nelson Mandela because he learned and rise in life as he spent 27 years in jail. Every peorson suffering is a Global Leader , Top commander of Forces, Top Respected man or women, A Renowned Beraucrat an Avid Painter, A lovely singer, A man with mission of peace and love a Top Cop, A human being always. Politicans are great its just that dirty politics is dirty.

The girls were asking the father why can't they rent a room near the school and the father said he hans't got the money for it. Our charity Assist RR, assistrr.org, is happy to provide funds to rent a room. Could BBC can provide the details of the school so that we can arrange it? The girls should be encouraged to achieve their ambitions and help others like them in the future. Email: committee@assistrr.org

Not sure where this village is located as it was not mentioned in the video. But I think the local government or the village council should try to re-build the bridge that was gone in 2013 flood. The villagers need to raise the issue otherwise this situation will not change. While the eagerness, hard work, and enthusiasm of these girls I admire, we should not take it granted that this situation is normal.
