I don't think City of the Wolves is coming out before the end of next year, which makes it likely they'll put out a season 3 as a stopgap much like they did with Samurai Shodown.

I just wish they could've gave Hinako a new Outfit, but instead they just wanted to stick with her Vintage School Girl Outfit from all the way back in 2000, I'm all for Nostalgia, but come on, it's playing way too Safe. 😂

With Hinako being out for a bit, I gotta voice my gripes with KOF XV. How did they give more story to Hinako compared to DUO LON!? This isn’t a diss at all to Hinako and more of a question as to why she gets more attention than even some protagonists. She gets 4 rival intros and partners up with Antonov in her story ending, showing that her connections continue after the tournament. Duo Lon gets pretty good conversations with Ash & Najd (Elisabeth doesn’t have any good ones), but his ending gives him nothing funny or important character-wise. It’s something that I’ve noticed with Ash Saga characters is that they try to make things shrouded in mystery, but there’s no mystery in the first place. Even though they gave Team Ash a pre-battle cutscene for Re-Verse, their ending cutscene gives us less story than Team Fatal Fury, an already sidelined team in KOF.

I will welcome Season 3 of KOF 15 as Fatal Fury: COTW needs all the time to provide us great content; especially in the single player department. I can't see the new Fatal Fury coming out next year as that's too fast of a release. If Fatal Fury: COTW comes out in early 2026 that'll mean the single player content will be bountiful. I have expectations thar Season 3 will be a mix of Teams and Single Entries. Makes sense as Season 1 was Teams (excluding Rugal), and Season 2 was Single Entries. The American Sports Team needs to return. It's been over 20 years since they been in a KOF as playable characters.

Honestly, my biggest discomfort with SNK, is that it feels like there jumping the gun a little. I Hope its not true, but I feel like SNK may be pulling away resources from kofxv to fatal fury. And what further backs up this point is that it seems to be what they've been doing ever since samsho2019 was greenlit where it's like. SAMSHO 2019 HAS BEEN GREENLIT, NOW WE GOTTA START WORKING ON THAT GAME. BUT what ABOUT kof xiv? WELL JUST THROW IN SOME DLC JUST TO KEEP OUR FANS busy. Not saying this ruins the game, but it does feel like that after a while.

Can you play against the CPU in versus mode; because that's what I like to do when I don't have anybody to play against?!

sooooo, l think hinako is literally coming up before KOF XIII: global match's launch, so, it is same SNK week, that's for sure. now, that's quiet funny, because: this is early delay season 2 DLC release date. like for sylvie is not coming up on summer, but hey it's on may 16th before summer, it is early delay date in 3rd DLC character for season 2, but, here it is again not winter this year. annnd this is early delay season 2 DLC release on november 14th, so, the hell going on, there's 2 early delay season 2 DLC release date's in KOF XV. that's freaking weird lol. but yeah, it is what it is.
