@@Fr0zenLungs in the black jackals v schweiden adlers match the jackals win but they spoke afterwards and they keep a count on their wins and losses so its kinda like the battle doesnt end but im not sure if thats what ya meant but yh - they play together on the Japanese national team for the olympics then end up on different teams (asas sao paulo for hinata and im not sure on the name but an italian team for kageyama) and they played again there, also in the light novel they played beach volleyball w kindaichi and kunimi too - they probably end up playing together for fun or on the Japanese national team again so yh

at first when I saw the time skip I was kinda annoyed. but then I realised it took over 360 chapters just to do the first year for hinata. so I realised that there would be way too many chapters for the first 3 years making the series become stale, so I like the choice

SPOILER: In the latest(and sadly the last) chapter of manga it is specified that Oikawa became a naturalized citizen of Argentina by living and playing there since he was 21. So he's an Argentinian now and hence represented Argentina in 2020 Olympics. Sorry for the spoiler if you haven't read the last chapter already.

Some story ideas for a Haikyuu spin-off or fanfictions: Oikawa overseas in the Argentina League, Kageyama playing overseas, the rest of the V.League season with Hinata and the Black Jackals going around meeting old friends, Tsukishima in the V.League Division 2 going around playing and (hopefully) getting promoted into Division 1. International Competitions and of course Hinata's 2nd and 3rd year in high school
