Also sometimes i publish songs that are written by other lyricits and composers, i just sing them, in that case how does songtrust help me with royalties???

You just have to tell Songtrust that you have a publishing company based in India, they'll collect those royalties as well. And if you have just sung the song, songtrust won't collect any royalties for you, but if you own the copyrights of any kind, then they can.

Get your songs famous, tv channels will come to you to license them, until then search some sync libraries where you can upload your songs. And for every radio station there's a separate process, you can go and check what radio stations are accepting indie music submissions.

The best paid promotions you can do are to do directly with the platforms. Like put paid ads on KZfaq and Instagram, run a campaign on Spotify etc. If you're willing to pay for promotion, then pay directly to the platforms or find someone trustable who knows how digital marketing works.

If you have registered yourself as a publisher in IPRS, then you can select I have a publishing entity, and then let them know the details of the same entity. But if you don't have any, then just select you don't have. That's alright

You can do that as well but you should register yourself first with your native country's PRO to collect your country's royalties directly without giving any commission to others. Also, once you register in Songtrust they are going to register you in all PROs including BMI, so you shouldn't pay anything extra to register in another country's PRO

As u know we get royalty from IPRS for Both Films And Original rights.. So , in same way can submit both ... And Can I be a member in this too right for WORLDWIDE Services right...TQ

Yes you can register those songs in Songtrust as well as a composer and mention the name of the publisher and the percentage shared by the owners. I'll suggest you to contact Songtrust customer care as they'll help you out in a better way for this. They'll give you the right path you should follow to register there as a composer.

You can register a lot of artists, there's no limit, you just have to pay separate fees for every artist. And to collect publisher royalties you don't need to register other artists. You can collect your publishing royalties by registering the label only. And to collect the artist's royalties you'll have to register all the artist's separately

Hi I have a question, my music is not published yet and that's my first work officially. So I am stuck in a loop, while registering to iprs, I am asked for my published work and for songtrust I need to enter my ipi number. How to proceed in such case?

When IPRS asks for a published work, just let them have your recent work's link. The official song which you've distributed through a distributor and then you'll be able to register in IPRS. If you get stuck in between, you can't contact IPRS customer care as well, they're very helpful.
