I am the son of a Hindu father and a Buddhist mother. I have experienced both religions and the respective cultures first hand and I can tell you, Buddhism is better any day and I am glad I chose it. I grew up seeing my mom treated very badly for years by her in laws all because she did not belong to a certain "caste".
