Brooke Bond Red Label Teal re-released an ad they made for the Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. This ad follows the same Hinduphobic traits that we have seen in numerous ads made by companies in India: Hindu festivals have immoral things, Islamic festivals are beautiful, Hindus are the only bigoted people in India, Muslims only know how to love.
Many of these ads have good messages in them, but Indians are getting sick and tired of one-sided lecturing and one-sided secularism. Secularism is a two-way street, and till the day we don't recognize that we won't have true secularism in India.

But the government employees were Hindus, so they always used to say "hamare haath se Muslim ka paper ban hi nahi sakta"! Now what would you say in this? My father politely said that Hindu hi ya Muslim, hai to insaan hi naa? Plz sir bana di jiye. But that man never did his job and I don't remember how my father made that document afterwards. I am not saying that no other religion will be allowed in India. Only that the laws will be made based on hindu culture and there will be no discrimination between men and women. No other religion in india will be allowed to follow any religious practices which hurts Hindu feelings. No beef, no burkha, no talaq, no namaz on street.
