For a team like india role of head coach is more like a mentor and decision maker. We have specific coaches for batting, bowling and feilding to work on tenchacalities. Main thing which gambhir brings is honesty and mental strength. Thats what we need.

Gambhir is a team man. He doesn't care about star culture in cricket and that's exactly what Indian team needs. We don't another God figure in Indian cricket.We just need 11 players who are just normal and happy to be playing for the country as a team. Star worshipping culture needs to go and Gambhir is the right man to do that job. He's gonna treat everyone equally. He's not gonna be a push over.
