Good tutorial. Two thing though. In a more real life setting these hinges would probably be made from a sheet metal part with rolled hems or a contour flange. Also a tiny bit of clearence between the rolled elements would be necessary. However this is still a well modeled hinge. Second thingy is that you could probably use a bit of a better microphone or noise suppressor sweep for your audio. This is my go to tutorial for peeps who want to model a hinge.

We agree with your point. It is just a tutorial to learn the functioning of the software. The captions are provided to understand the instruction provided in audio.

A simple piece of advice. Try to model the product as it really is prepared. The hinge is generally made of sheet metal. Make a sheet metal face, then contour roll, cut, hole, and finally rounded corners.

Gareth Wilson In the newer version of the Autodesk Inventor the names of the Appearance colour are different. You can use any colour on the model according to you wish.

The way he designs the hinge is very easy and fast, it has nothing to do if it's going to be manufacturated from a sheet metal or from another way, this is just the design of the mechanical part
