Remembering George Logan who sadly passed away yesterday, and his partner in comedy, Patrick Fyffe. A truly marvellous double act, the likes of which we are unlikely to see again.

I had the privelege of briefly meeting Patrick Fyffe back in 2000. He was so full of 'life' and vitality and such an entertaining personality even when he wasn't performing, even though he was in fact, very ill at the time. I also had the privelege of singing/performing the 'Cat's Chorus', with another girl, when i was a school girl in the 70's.

@@weepingwillow-ud6xl - It's thrilling to think that there are people on KZfaq that will 'get' the act; it's also depressing to think that there will be many who haven't got a clue what it's all about, starting with the costumes and accents and ending with the period setting and brilliant stage chemistry. Female impersonators probably get burned at the stake in America these days...

I feel you did need a certain mindset to appreciate this very talented duo. Comedy is very much subjective like art, music, drama, films or plays. The critics can almost be the wolf in sheep's clothing, guiding them to the enclosure. Gaining their trust by writing a wonderful review, but the next might be so scathing they might never perform again.
