Kenny survives another week by an underwhelming win against a lowly opposition. Terrible goal kicking. Only three elite players. Not a true top eight team. Good to see Alirr back in form. Next.

I think he got PA performing better than they really are. You dont last 12 years if you're a bad coach. Having said that, If I was Hinkley I would leave before being pushed at the end of the year., theres no reason he cant coach another team. He has one of the best win/loss records ever, but PA struggled in finals but thats normal for all interstate teams.

@@tubester4567that win loss record is only a theoretical statistic. Today was a win. Hawthorne was a win. But they are not wins. They are theoretical wins. Meaninglus information unless appraised against real results. Real wins are measured against real teams at real times. Not give away wins like today or hawthorne. That should be measured as complete opposition failures. So if you check that statistic you will find it on the other end of the scale. Port should have been in at least one grandfinalvwith their talent in his tenure. And in analysing stat's you need a benchmark. That win loss record is not correctly benchmarked to assess performance at all. That's maths. Otherwise who's to say it's complete lack lustre? Nothing.. just poorly analysed data.

Hey! He's a good bloke. I think it's OK to see a bit of emotion after a turbulent week. No one lasts forever in the coaching game. Regardless of outcomes, Ken Hinkley has been a tremendous servant of the PAFC. He deserves the respect of the fans and the respect of the wider football fraternity.

Today we had a super win. Fortunately St kilda gave us this win on a silver spoon with a super woeful kick in the last min I thank St Kilda for their super kindness. I take this win but nothing to be proud about or smile about cause as you saw our skills were super woeful especially trying to kick between the posts. Not sure where the skills coach has gone??? But credits to St Kilda for a super loss. Thanks Ross. Owe you one. At least St Kilda know their position on the ladder. And know when their not super No Ken it wasn't a Super win over the Super swans today. It was Ross Lyon and St kilda not sure where all the super came from lol but it sounds good.

Port are bereft of any cohesion or depth which will continue to be their downfall. They cannot compete against the teams that are truely contending. In a game with only one highlight, Port’s future looks stark unless radical changes occur.

Take that you Kenny haters! Never any doubt master regular season coach Hinkley would get his boys to another appearance in the first week of finals. All those booing Port supporters must feel pretty silly knowing their team will play 1 more game this year than 10 other clubs.
