In this video we talk about solving Hono Profia or Hino 700 series DPF problem .The DPF of this bus is known to fail at some stage in its lifetime and you will know this by a P2002 error code described as " particulate trap efficiency below threshold bank 1" on your diagnostic tool. Other faults that can be seen are as follows:
P2002 - DPR efficiency below threshold (Bank 1)
P242F - DPR restriction - Ash accumulation
P2458 - DPR regeneration duration
P2459 - DPR regeneration frequency
P2463 - DPR Restriction - Soot accumulation
In the video we explain the ultimate way which you can solve this problem. a DPF is meant to last the vehicle's lifetime. You dont have to buy a new DPF and when you start seeing these problems it means you will likely continue seeing them even if you purchase a brand new one.
