Jungkook loves all music and can sing anything. He does multiple covers from various artists. He and the other members of BTS are definitely not treated with the same respect as Western artists. I'm not going to go in all negative, I just really want them to get their 'flowers' because it is well deserved. As far as this video, I think they both did their thing. Of course I feel Jungkook slayed it because it's his song and choreography but Usher definitely brought in the R&B funk/vibe. I don’t think the question of “who did it best” needs to be asked. They didn’t compete, they put their own spin on the dance and complimented each other. 😊 There is a video when JK was younger when BTS was asked the question of who they wanted to collab with (or was inspired by, I can’t recall for sure) and all of them, including JK said “Usher”. THEN JK spoke up and added “Justin Timberlake” and here he is today with a remix with both of them. As far as his hair. When it was long, he had a Weverse live and told us that he would be cutting his hair little by little until it was really short. I always wince when I see or hear "who did it best" during artist collaborations. For me I ask does the collaboration work and did the artists have a symbiosis. Were there elements within the performance I think can be highlighted. I always feel stacking artists against each other is uncomely. And yes, this position applies to all the pathetic fan wars in K Pop as well. Why we can't just enjoy art without this competitive noise is beyond me. JK is huge right now! His first solo "Seven Feat Latto" is the fastest song in history to reach 1 billion streams. Just so you know, none of JK's solo releases have anything to do with Kpop other than JK is S. Korean. All of JK's solo releases including his just released album "Golden" are all in English. There are no S. Korean songwriters, producers, recording studios or MV shooting directors or locations, etc. He is blowing past Kpop and jumping head first into the American pop market. Usher have a lot of experience and he knew perfectly to dance AND connect with JK. He also knew how his outfit would have an effect on his dance and move. JK was very respectful and give space to usher but I think as an INTP he needs more time to connect with someone new.

This is one thing about Americans it's always a competition about who's better than who Asians don't do that. Jungkook is diverse and multitalented. Usher has his own vibe but I do not think Usher over powered Jungkook on this. JK held his own. Would say JK is a better performer with his skills and dancing. Usher has an awesome voice and can move but I'd challenge him to keep up with the choreography that Jungkook has done the last ten years. 💜💜💜💜
