Rakim and Black Thought may always be in my Top 5. Black Thoughts Freestyle on 97.5 is Legendary. People sleep on MC Sha-Rock. Funky Four Plus One. DMC said that's where he get his echo chamber style from. A truck driver was talking to me and asked me who was one the first and baddest females rapper ever. He said Roxanne Shante is my first cousin. I didn't believe him, but true enough...she is. His Mother and her Mother are sisters... I'm like "Man please get me an autograph from her"...Lol.

I mean there is nothing wrong with having Big or Pac in there, but it seemed to be so patterned. It was like people were just throwin it in there not taking into consderation people like Black Thought, or Common, maybe even Big L Wordsworth, Jean Grae, Royce there is just so many that can't be looked over but are getting looked over lol. @@MONQTV I hear you, and those are great names you mentioned…real spitters. A name that I don’t see come up at all is one of the most vicious lyricists I’ve ever heard: Chino XL. Never heard a wack verse from him EVER. He was Eminem before Eminem. I think he alienated a lot of folks because he pulls no punches and often attacks other rappers directly.😂

Monq, I totally feel ya about people all having the same top 5, but it is an opinion! People like who they like! Pac, Jay-Z, and Eminem make it into my top 5. The other 2 being Busta Rhymez and Royce 5'9

Let talk about D Smoke, Flawless Realtalk, Locksmith. Of course, there is Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Weezy. I used to like Drake, but he has kinda fell off to me. He tries to hard to be a thug when we ALL know that he is not! But Mystikal, Nick Grant, all of Griselda, and Tobe N'Wigwe are all fire! Slaughterhouse was the Supergroup for a long time.

Yes indeed. Matter of fact in the song she had against UTFO that was a FLAT OUT FREESTYLE off the TOP of her head. She didn't write that. For that particular time it stops to be the strong standard for an EmCee especially being a female. But before she was signed this is what she did.
