Probably has good security and NYC today is very difficult to rob places considering the sheer amount of witnesses and the surveillance even if it isn't the store's own surveillance. Plus if she was smart she would know where the real and fake jewelry are and strategically place them so if the store gets hit the thief would probably not get that much real jewelry.
