The idea that one is "born that way" was never scientifically proven and has just been a societal truth, not based on real evidence.. also many have been in homoerotic experiences without labeling themselves in that category, I would argue that it's that way in most cases. Regardless, It was a well made film despite your personal views, you stating "As a woman.." in the beginning of your sentences bring nothing to the conversation, given us women don't all think the same.
