They are idiots because they literally believe that this hippo loves them and would never hurt another human being. Hippos kill more humans every year than ANY OTHER ANIMAL ON THE PLANET. They are extremely unpredictable and there is no such thing as a hippo that will not kill a human no matter how young they were taken in by humans.
