This was an impressive round both visually and structurally. I think had the audio been mastered the same way as the wildcard, this would be 10 times better...

Sorry but the audio is really disturbing. I don't think it's the audio editor's fault, I feel Hippy didn't have good recording gear for this - sounds like it's been recorded on a phone or something because the audio keeps clipping

I think it sounds like an mixing/mastering problem, The low end was not coming through either, that could have been easily done regardless of recording equipment

@@christianhattens1150 Yeah but I'm not talking about the EQing (which I agree might be sub par as well) Bad EQ and mix is still not disturbing, it's just less satisfying to hear. The mic clipping at the airy sounds is what triggers me the most lol Edit : I rewatched it now and somehow the clipping doesn't seem as bad as before, weird lol

These 2 rounds are the ones I've been the most hyped about. Only bad part is that for either one to win, the other one loses and is out of the competition. I want to see a lot more from BOTH Hippy and Heartzel!

Damn I was really hyped for this but tbh the mixing/ mastering on the audio just wasn’t that good imo. Sounds were put together that just wouldn’t be possible without software unfortunately, but I could be mistaken

Mix/mastering problems or audio file corrupted? bass here is too low obviously (except beginning and ending) and also in some places volume weirdly drops in middle frequencies, even spit snares not coming through... HIPPY is cool anyways, rooting for you💚 the routine, the concept, the visuals - amazing!

this round is structured so well omgggg but I think the audio is gonna stop hippy winning some elements like the vibration bass are quiet in places, and the drums in places are clipping but ngl this round in my opinion is structured a lot better than heartzel

@@yungmarceygoingwild I mean the one at 1:30 and 0:40 is throat bass /vibration bass. Of course I am not a pro, I could be wrong. But I am really sure. Especially after the vibration bass phase he does the particular bass and you can hear the difference pretty well 0:40

Apart from the mixing problems it sounds like there were some cuts, which could have been hidden way better :/ Damn, so much potential wasted by lack of polishment :/ This would have been on such a ******* high level without these problems (it was still crazy, but for me the problems were just too sad to really enjoy it).

Very nice round, actually one of my favorites besides hiss'. To be fair he had a very hard opponent with heartzel but overall i think if the audio was just a little better it would have been an absolute banger
