That No Russian is wild. It's basically a mission in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. They killed everyone in an airport. Soldiers, civilians, everyone was killed. As for why the aliens made him modded out, all they had onboard were weapons.

One thing that CJ missed about this character, is that the reason behind why this guys is obsessed with One Piece is wild. It's because the author, Hiroya Oku is the biggest hater of Oda and One Piece in the industry. The reason behind it comes down to members of 2chan (Japanese equivalent of 4chan) shitting on and making fun of his previous work Gantz and also being massive fans of One Piece. So Hiro here is pretty much him getting payback against 2chan, with portraying this teenager psychopath as this super obsessed fan of One Piece, while his friend, a normal and well-adjusted person, having Gantz posters in his room, and then the discord mod mass execution was him depicting, as he saw it, people from 2chan getting offed.

From what someone in this comment section said, it's more that One Piece fans were sending so much hate on Gantz that the author decided to make Hiro (the antagonist) a massive One Piece fan, the sane best friend a Gantz fan, and the Discord Users depictions of 2chan users (the people sending the hate)
