I remember thinking the first and second hokages were somewhat weak because of this battle. But then we found out that if the first was revived at full power against Hiruzen, he could just break out of the jutsu and kill Orochimaru easily lol. 2nd strongest Hokage ever after only Naruto.

@@xer0997 They only reason why Sarutobi even could match the two hokages was because they were revived at 1% of their power. If they were revived at the level of the war arc. Hashirama could just break away from reanimation jutsu and kill Orochimaru.

Hiruzen knows like ALL the jutsus in his village, problem is, he has very low chakra reserves.

I wouldn’t say he has low chakra reserves. The man was able to do a bunch of high level very chakra consuming jutsu plus a summon and the reaper death seal. Like he clearly has less chakra than say hashirama, but im certain he is still close to having the highest chakra amount in comparison to every shinobi in the world

Nah he didn’t have low chakra reserves, he was just old! I’m his old state he was able to handle his own against the First and Second Hokage, the Third would’ve lived if he was younger, and wouldn’t have used the Death Reaper seal

Fact: Hashirama werent the only one who got called God Of Shinobi. Hiruzen had 2 names. "The Professor" and God Of Shinobi, confirmed in the manga by orochimaru.

FUN FACT: Hiruzen here was considered the strongest of the 5 Kages. Stronger than A, Onoki, Rasa (Gaara father) and Yagura until his death and then Mei take over.

I would like to see Hiruzen in his prime. For that matter I would love if they covered some of the past kages, primarily the 1st and 2nd kages of the other lands that weren't covered much. Maybe that'll come up in boruto with some new edos

Hashirama and Tobirama when Reanimated here but not really the improved versionf Reanimation Jutsu: Well I guess we have no choice but to fight and destroy the leaf. Hashirama when reanimated in the war: I can easily break Out of this even tho to greatly improved the jutsu.

Osea,lo era,el tema es que el autor tuvo que reescribir toda la historia,hiruzen era el hokage más fuerte,pero en Shippuden se le fue de las manos la historia,le metió un tremendo powerup al Madara y como consecuencia Hashirama tenía que ser aún más fuerte y se las saco con que el Edo tensei estaba incompleto y blah blah

In this fight Hashirama and tobirama didn't even have half of their powers because of reanimation jutsu....if they would have even half of their powers Hashirama could have easily killed Hiruzen and then unbind the reanimation jutsu

Fucking Hiruzen is so underrated he fought Hashirama and Tobirama and still managed to win but there are little mistakes like their face has no lines and their eyes are not black also Hashirama can get rid of edo tensei from such a weakling like orochimaru

at that time both Hashirama and Tobirama were resurrected in an imperfect state because Orochimaru was still not able to master the edo tensei jutsu perfectly which is why Hiruzen was able to beat them even with difficulty. and this is different from the edo tensei during the 4th ninja world war where the hokage at that time was resurrected with a strength that was close to their original strength when they were still alive.
