Adopted at birth, the 20-year-old grew up in Oregon and was searching for his birth mother when a DM from his brother, Jaylon, changed everything. Twenty-four hours after the online exchange, Iverson flew to Utah to meet his birth family. When he arrived, he instantly saw the resemblance with his biological mom and siblings. This is my wish one day, I am in a similar situation my mom give one of my sister away when she was 7 years old because of poverty 😢 💔 she is the first born and should be around 70 years old. All I know is her name I don't know if her adopted parent change her name 🤦♀️😭 we live in a Caribbean country and she took her to England so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I wish I can find her but I don't know how to start 😕 😞 😔 😪

Do a DNA test and see if anyone in the family apoears as a match. Get into facebook groups of people looking for people (in the UK) and in your country. They may be looking for you!

I can so relate to this story. I gave my son up for adoption 33 years ago, and I afterwards regretted it, but was overseas serving in the military. I always kept in touch with the adoption agency to update them with my information in case my son ever found out he was adopted. We were finally reunited this July, and it’s the most wonderful feeling in the world! Now I have my son back, a new daughter-in-law and 3 beautiful granddaughters. The twist is that my son had no idea he had been adopted until the adoption agency contacted him notifying him that I was searching for him. I’m so blessed.

Congratulations on your reunion with your son! ❤️ It used to be adoptions were closed and couldn’t give any information. So NOW a biological parent can seek a child though the agency or do they have to wait till they are an adult? This is why the adoptive parents should tell them at some point that they were adopted.

I have a friend who just met his biological mom after 26 years of his life. He found her! He lives in California. She lives in the Midwest I believe. She gave him up for adoption when she was just 15 I believe and had gotten raped by a stranger. The pregnancy was hid from her family, as she was harbored by her aunt for over 9 months when she was a teenager. She never had any other children, but did get married. She is 44 now. Now, he is about to have his first baby and she will be a grandma! She is completely in his life and even planned his gender reveal party. There story is absolutely amazing!

To not love deeply is to not love at all. I cannot love on part nor in half. I cannot love holding back or hidden. Only openly, honestly, sincerely and devotedly or else it isn't love. For love is without selfishness but rather selfless. It does not seek gain but gives. It doesn't take but sacrifices freely of its own for the good of that which it loves. It is too deep to measure, too high to ascend and so wide that you can never truly comprehend it or embrace it. It's least expression is greater than all the gold you could amass. Should you ever meet it or even glimpse it, find yourself in its presence or to have been the object of its affection, know then that you have lived more than a lifetime to have found it, for some have never crossed it's path or ever felt it's touch. Some were blind to see it although it was along side them. Others were deaf to hear it for they drowned it's soft whisper in the noise of the crowd. Still many ignored it though it called to them and beckoned them to come. Rejecting it's invitation and in so doing chose to wander alone, restless on a bed or sadness, leaving love Abandoned, without a heart to make its home. I found my biological family last year through Ancestry & Facebook. I too lived in the guilt of betrayal to my adoptive family for years. Although I know where my bio mother is now, I’ve dodged actually meeting her in person for many emotional reasons I can’t explain. This story has given me great encouragement. For the love of god, go SEE HER! I made that mistake myself brother, I wasn't ready when I turned 18 (that's when you can go to the authorities to get your biological parents contact info here in Norway), and after I'd served a year in the military doing my compulsory service when I was 19, my mother committed suicide so I never got to see her. My bio father passed away in the mid 90s, so I was too young to really take it to heart then (I was born in 88). I'm in contact with my biological siblings (2 older sisters) and the rest of the family back home in Namibia, so that's REALLY nice though. From one brotha to another, don't make the same mistake I did. Seek her out! 👍🏿👍🏿✊🏿✊🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Once the mom came on with her message I just broke down in tears. There are some people who put children up for adoption and they would much rather not see them or meet them. It's so heartwarming to know that both of them were looking for each other. I am in tears as I write this only because I wish that I could adopt a child. But I'm probably not in the position to at the moment. I'm happy that I had a loving family who raised me and it's just so loving to see the power of knowing your biological parents and family

It's amazing how cohesive his biological family is with him after just being reunited, even after he's been apart from his biological family for so long. They're all so much alike and such beautiful people inside and out. It's also wonderful that he had such lovely adoptive parents as well, to help lay his foundation. He's quite blessed in every way. My bio-daughter found me by hiring a investigator in 1991. My story is very similar to this story. She and her older brother were adopted out at birth in private adoptions. I know how he feels. I found out I was adopted when I was 43...found my birth Mom - two sisters and a brother...It was wonderful....but my adoptive parents where wonderful people and I love them so much...I was truly blessed.

I've been watching Tamron Hall Show from the beginning, however, this is the first time I cried watching her show. I loved that Iverson was able to find his birth family and they accepted him with open arms and open heart!

He is such a sweetheart!! Giving Tamron a hug after realizing their stories are similar and getting emotional and hugging his brother when he found out his brother has been writing his name in notebooks and stuff! So cute and sweet!

That had to have been tough for the older brother. Because just seeing that pic, he was old enough to know and remember he had a baby brother! I'm so glad they found eachother. Beautiful family.

My brother in law had a child at 16 but was never allowed to be in his life due to racism, he had 4 other children with my sister and after 17 years his son finally knows who his father is and has met his family! I am so happy to hear this story!

I once heard a quote by a First nation elder.....and that quote went like this... Sometimes we are born into families where we dont belong, BECAUSE we are meant to go on a journey first,,,,, no matter how long that journey, the Great Creator of all things, wants to see and know love, so that you will know love and kindness...so that when he allows you to take second trip, your heart and soul will be full,...you will have the love of your parents that raised you and loved you unconditionally,...this will allow you to have more love for your birth mother and appreciate the sacrifice she's.made because she wanted for you to have so much more...you've come full circle IVERSON....I WISH THE BEST FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE 🙂🌟🌟🌟

Wow this story touch my heart. Being adopted and not knowing where your family could be. I looked for my biological parents for a long time. Now at 44 I’m still wonder if I would ever find them. I hope one I will find them or someone close to them. It’s not easy when you feel so alone.

Keep trying. Just be prepared for anything. I found my birth mother at almost 30 years old. Long story short but she had no idea what happened to me. My adoptive family moved over 3000 miles away from our home state, and my name was changed. I now have a relationship with her, my brothers,sisters, nieces and nephews. If it's meant to be it will be.
