Abdullateef Aliyu Maitaki, popularly known as Mufti Yaks, is dead. Legit.ng reports that Yaks is a prominent social media personality and religious motivational speaker who modelled his way of presentation with renowned Zimbabwean Islamic speaker, Mufti Menk.
Former minister of digital economy, Professor Isa Ali Pantami, posted about Yak’s death on his verified X (formerly Twitter) page yesterday. The cause of his was not immediately known, but he was reported to have been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
Pantami wrote: “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raajiun! “Just heard that our beloved son, Abdullateef Aliyu Maitaki, popularly known as Mufti Yaks, passes away. What a great loss! “Janaza by 10 am at Justice Maiyaki’s residence Dutsen Kura Gwari, Minnah. May Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus.”

You say that now however when you hit your grave, you will wish someone took the time to pray for you. Being in the grave will not be a permanent state. We will be brought forth from the grave again to be judged. In the meantime, hope that someone, anyone, will remember and pray for you while you face those angels.

Yes we can pray for Muslim people who are dead : Umm Salama reported: The Messenger of Allah (Salallah 3alayhi wa sallam) came to Abu Salama (as he died). His eyes were fixedly open. He closed them, and then said: When the soul is taken away the sight follows it. Some of the people of his family wept and wailed. So he said: Do not supplicate for yourselves anything but good, for angels say” Amen” to what you say. He then said: O Allah, forgive Abu Salama, raise his degree among those who are rightly guided, grant him a successor in his descendants who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the Universe, and make his grave spacious, and grant him light in it. Sahih Muslim 920a

There is a conception of the Day of Judgement. A man who did good and benificial work for humanity, the humanity will remember him and intitutively their hearts will pray for him so that he has great position in heaven! For good people their virtue go on increasing. The speaker is advising muslims to pray for they dead ones for the fire of Hell is so furious and ever-lasting! A simple good virtue could save him! Just publishing the dead ones' some unislamic photos and writing down RIP below in social media sites is against the teachings of Islam! The speaker knew the extremely bad one can't get prayers from the heart of public. Man's some works stand like trees giving fruits bitter or sweet to humanity for long time during his life time and even after his death! Man is Asraful Makhluqat, the best creation of Allah(swt) according to Islam! His every act carries enough value, a good act gets 2 positive point and a bad act gets 1 negative point. I am talking of very ordinary level of good or bad work. Certainly higher level of good( virtuous) work has got very high level of counting of virtue, so more and more negative points for very bad work or sin. If man knew how much Allah(swt) or creator loves him or her! Even after death of a cruel man who only did wrong to you but if you pray for his forgiveness, Allah(swt) gives a lot of value to your pray! To think that after death of someone your pray for him will not do anything for him then you must remember the day of judgement is the extinction of humanity from this present world and then the judgement will start, the benifits or virtues Einstein, Newton, all the prophets and so many great peoples, including many of us and many other have been giving to the humanity through our works during our lifetime or after death still humanity's extinction will be counted and added to our books of virtues!

@@milkahnyakio • Yes we believe Allah as our Lord and there's no God except him. • And we also believe in Prophet Jesus (pbuh), Quran 4:171 " O People of the Bible, don’t exaggerate in your religion, and say only the truth about God. Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, is the Messenger of God, His Word bestowed upon Mary, and a spirit of Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and don’t say, “Trinity.” Cease-it is better for you. God is but One God. Exalted is He-He is far above having a son. To Him belongs all that’s in the heavens and on earth, and God is enough as a Trustee. • Now search which Jesus spoke? not english but *Aramaic* where the God is called Allaha or Alloha. • Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) deceived at least not like Jesus who you claim to be God of OT, Jeremiah 4:10 Then I said, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! How completely you have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ when the sword is at our throats!” • Now tell me where Jesus said he is God or where he said worship me? It's just like in the case of Lazarus, he died, he did not go to Heaven, JESUS said he was sleep in the grave... Then the disciples thought he was sleeping 😴 like he could be awakened out of sleep. But CHRIST said plainly... Lazarus is dead! Amen. I hear you my brother but when someone dies you said pray for them. Pray for them in what matter because the soul when you die, your soul have already left your motor body. Your soul have already left that flesh until judgment Day. You are kept under the altar of God until judgment Day. How can you pray for something that's already dead?
