I could definitely see him maintaining as he aged even into his 40s and older if he didn't have the miles on his body, which is something I have seen in UFC before when a 45 year was the top fighter in the company and still improving, but he also started at 34 so he didn't have the miles, but to do it a professional sport after over 20 years straight, while having to play literally EVERY DAY against in the best guys in the world is unheard of period. Most guys under 30 couldn't maintain themselves if they had the same kind of miles on them as Lebron has. Yup, LBJ has a better ppg (27.2 vs 24.6) at this current moment in time. Kareem was more dominant in his early years in terms of scoring, but after age 34 he never topped 25 ppg. Apart from his rookie year, Lebron has always scored greater than 25 ppg, and he would've gotten it much faster too if he hadn't been having injuries the past few years.
