Something I noticed is that the Animes Hisoka has more of a personality and sass to him than his manga counter part, and I think its because of his eyes being more open in the Anime. In the manga he just feels like a monster out for the kill, who is a little creepy, where as in the Anime hes flirtatious and human, if that makes sense.
