Liberal President Benito Juarez had lost the 3 year's War to the Conservatives Army led by the youngest Mexican President of all times - General Don Miguel Miramon, who anecdotally, was one of the survivor young cadets ("nino heroe) at the Battle of Chapultec in 1847 during the U.S invasion, and who also latter was sentenced to death by a firing squad along Gral. Don Tomas Mejia and Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg in 1867. 4. benito juarez defeated Gral. Miguel Miramon ONLY when he made secret treaties and pacts with James Buchanan's Gov. in Washington.
