It doesn't matter what order the draw and damage are on Flame of Anor for killing Sheoldred. The damage doesn't kill Sheoldred until after resolution and SBAs are checked. Same as the Bolt vs Goyf interaction.

Omg, autotapper was totally drunk at the end of the first game against mono black. Tapping Jegantha to double wizards lightning instead of the islet. Thank god it didn't matter xD

Historic needs lightning bolt and counterspell. I heard that they would do arena vintage with all the great cards that are prebanned in historic. THat format sounds like gas

I must ask: Why spikefield hazard? Sure, it can double as a weak damage spell, but it also comes in tapped.

The flexibility is what makes it work - sure, it's meh as a land and meh as a spell, but it being either when you need one or the other seals the deal. Esp. in a deck that cares about cheap instants (so Shatterskull Smashing is too expensive) and in a format that plays a number of important X/1's (e.g. mana elves in MonoG Devotion)
