You get “props” for removing the branches. So sad the infant and children’s graves. We do not realize how fortunate we are with our medical care. People used to die just from simple things like cuts, etc. Children died from diseases there were no immunities from. It’s a reminder to us to use our time here wisely, and to make a difference. Just by caring, and taking time to be kind and polite can make a difference. Makes me wonder if the Cemeteries in general do not have to meet any type of regulations for future “maintenance.”

Hell yeah, he does!!! Matt, just because you did that like second nature, not because anyone was watching but because it was just right to do, he has mad manly creds in my book!!! I watch so many of your videos - it feels like I know you. It was so natural I didn't even notice you had done that. I had to back it up & rewatch alot of the video. I think it's fun to walk through random cemeteries. It's very peaceful!! Good job, Matt!!!

Hi Matt, what a lovely little graveyard. That type of stone you like is granite which is a pretty stone I agree and what they call the spine of Cornwall is literally made out of hard granite. You can pretty much find little granite stones/chippings wherever you go in Cornwall too. I thought it was very sweet of you to move the branches away from the markers too. x

Luv the dandies & forget-me-nots blanketing the lawn. LOL - stupid spell-check - wanted me to put forget-me-newts, tons, or bots. Granted, I wasn't certain they were forget-me-nots, but I know they were none of those options! It really is a lovely graveyard; even tho those big old trees pose a legitimate risk to headstones below, they certainly add to the overall grandeur & serenity of this plot of land.

I love the fact that you walk these cemeteries! I just came across your channel yesterday. I happened to see that you recently posted this video and where this cemetery is located. Something that you might not know about Peru Indiana is that it once was the circus capital of the USA. This is before the circus performers went down to Florida. I grew up not far from Peru. There are many many cemeteries like this around this area. I love the fact that you're very respectful of these gravesites. Keep up the good work!

Aren’t you terrified of the dead? Dead people are evil and could cause you harm just by being alone with them in a graveyard. What if you turned around suddenly and bam! there’s one right in your face staring you down, big bushy eyebrows and all? It’s enough to give me the creeps.

It is terrible that people discard non-degradable trash like old TVs and tires on sites that do not belong to them and esp. in a pastoral place like a cemetary. They do it because they are too cheap to properly dispose of these items. There are outlets for those items in most towns and recycling centers and usually it just takes a little grunt work to get those items to the proper disposal centers. This has become a big problem with the advent of flat screen lighter weight TVs. Sorry for digressing, but to litter sites like historic graveyards is unforgiveable.

It's hard to understand, why people spend money to give their child a grave without giving him or her a name. As far as I know, a dead born baby is in the grace of god automatically because of its innocence, even if it is not baptized. But if this grave is as old as it looks, the death rate of children in these days was very high, and if the parents lost all of their kids in a short period, what is likely, they maybe had not the time or the strength to name him or her. So sad ....... and thank you for removing the branches.
