I'm sure most people understand this. However, you probably wouldn't want to buy a diamond as much if it was super cheap. By maintaining this engineered scarcity, it also maintains the diamond's cultural and symbolic value.

By cleaning them, you would be creating miniature scratches upon the surfaces of the gen which would reduce their luster, effectively lowering their cost and look.

@@aguysomebody1017 diamonds are a 10.0 on the MOHS scale. They are literally amongst the hardest, toughest materials on earth. Polishing them will NOT damage them. HOWEVER, the gold would need to be carefully maintained.

I love the enthusiasm of the "model"! You can tell she is really excited to get to try those pieces on! I would be the exact same way if I was in that position. I like that she didn't try to act all prim and proper- she modeled the pieces beautifully but still showed her excitement, sense of wonder, and reverence for them. LOVE!!💖🖤

Ok, where is the evidence or proof that any of these jewels or diamonds are blood diamonds, stolen, pillaged, a result of war, conquering another nation or anything remotely close to any of that? Or are you just going on the assumption that this is a British store and some of the pieces are are old so there is no possible way it could have been legitimately bought or purchased? Honestly diamond is highly mined, it doesn’t even cost much anymore. I get that it’s old so I accept the price being that much for that reason, but diamonds just aren’t worth the cost

I agree some stones are bought badly, but just take the video for what it is, a history of those certain pieces and such. All places have had a bad history with this or that. You can not live in the past all the time, if you do the future will sneak up on you and in no time you have not lived the long life you were granted as you just stayed bitter all your life.

Why is it stupid? If you have the money, either through inheritance or work, why not spend the money. It stimulates the economy and if it makes you feel good then I don't see a reason why not. Besides, the amount of money spent on anything, food, jewellery etc, is all relative.
