Still trying to clarify how this calculates volatility. Say you have Stock A that goes straight up 10% each day for a month and Stock B goes up and down 10% each day for a month (circles the original price). Do these have equal volatility because they have the same daily moves? Or does A have high and B have low volatility because B stays around the same place?
