in the 40s-60s most 17-year-olds spoke like him... but our education system was rigged by "people" who hate America and its values. You can look up interviews of kids in the 40s and 50s and you will see.

Exactly....when teenagers actually had to use their minds and had extensive vocabularies! These kids could learn a lot from Tupac Shakur today! He was polite, well spoken, articulate and very innocent at 17 but he was still able to understand things beyond his years! These rappers today especially 17 can’t even complete a sentence or speak correctly. They are an embarrassment to our culture and because they don’t know why Hip Hop was created they disrespect it and all of us. Sad.

Yup it is but the reason why is globalism. Most of which started in 80's. So many great things happened as well the berlin wall fell which should have helped cut spending and helped the economy. Instead spending goes through the roof and retarded wars. Presidents selling out the country to China which is the model. While Trump is far from perfect he is for bettering the US.

This is what the theatre and ballet lessons promote, a well mannered polite student of the performing arts. Tupac was a ballerina for three years, while also performing in plays at baltimore high school. The years spent from 15 to 18 ballet dancing, proved vital for tupac as he entered the screen actors guild in his 20s

Neverlandia Sounds profound -- and Tupac is my guy -- but if you process what he said it doesnt make sense; it should be the opposite: "society would be bankrupt if our wealth was based on how we treat each other". /bklyn👑

Robert Motión your comment is true though. Many of us would be bankrupt if wealth was based on how we treat people. It takes strength to love, it’s hard to love, it is hard work to love . It’s easier to push away and hate, it’s easier, more common and normalized. I’m glad you wrote your comment, brought some ideas that have value to think on

This teenager didn't know that he has 8 years left to live his life. And we can also die at anytime, too. This evening or tomorrow morning, or even right after we read this comment. Who knows? Did you know that Shakur means Thankful in Arabic? His fellow crewmate, Mutah Beale, reminded me of this. May Allah give us hidayah and tawfiq, and give us serenity in this worldly life, qubr life, and afterlife (akhirah). I don't mind of having such short lifespan, as long as i died as Muslim and do many good things for my community and whole humanity, with the permission of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I'm at a loss for words. Always liked rap music for their aggressivity because I'd listen whenever I wanted to release anger but after becoming an adult I started to appreciate lyrics more, and I emphatyze more with the people writing them. Rap is the real deal, Tupac is big for a reason, he made me see this side about rap I can't unsee now. I think I'm starting to love the genre. It's so... Human, and the story behind these people are freaking relatable for everyone with a bit of humanity inside them. Watching this interview after listening to Tupac for I think a year or two now, just made me realize how... You know, genuine and also genius that he had to write down such powerful songs. I'm not afraid of saying Tupac is a genius, he does stand out a lot from the average person and what's more, he's different from the average luxury, sex kind of rapper.

@SlickArmor I think for me the best part of what he had to say... and I hope it stays with me for a long time... was the part about how schools could be different and more successful starting at location 18:50 of the film through 22:02. Most of the rest was just nice for me to hear as I do not get to hear other peoples thoughts often and it was nice to hear a strong thinker talking about important ideas or just experiences had. I also had a better understanding somewhat of the gangsta world and how someone might be able to be both a part of that but also still carrying with them strong ethics despite all that comes down on them. I was noticing a lot of upsetted people in the comments about who they thought Tupac really was and they considered the subject to be either one or the other rather then considering a person might be able to be both. That made me more curious about all that happened in his life after we went to school together. I did not get to follow him in his career those several years after he graduated. I hope this answers your question of me.

It's all readily available info but people just listen to crap without doing real research. I remember back in the day something that caught my eye, and now with the age of tech we can go back pause, rewatch, and slow down footage. There's aired footage of when Tupac was supposedly in court for a rape, it shows him waking freely through a court room, a bailiff runs over to him, Tupac puts his hands behind his back, you hear all the cameras click for the photo op that they released as him being detained in the paper, but in the video, pac pulls his hand back around freely with no cuff on and walks freely out of the court room. I was like uuhhhhhhhhhh that's now being detained works.

Well, the average 17 year old is certainly not brought up the way he was. As a matter of fact, the overwhelming majority isn't. He was raised by revolutionaries and great speakers (his mom was an orator for the BBP) while experiencing crushing poverty, homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, frequently moving to different locations and all the while having a mom who made sure from early on that he understood the power of knowledge, reading, COMPREHENDING AND CRITICAL ANALYSIS. If we consider all that, it's not that surprising that he had the mind and vision he did.
