This is a good very informative and educational video on glass and it didn't get one comment. I am a dump digger with an interest in glass and am impressed with his knowledge.

Thank you for your history lesson. It really helped me understand my grandfather's life..I was told he was a glassblowing but then he followed the gas boom. I didn't understand how it was connected. We always had interesting glass items mostly used for special occasions. We also had glass ball paperweights. I have been trying to identify some of the glass pieces Ihave..some passed onto me by family and some I bought. Thank you.

This is a fabulous fabulous video so glad it showed up on my KZfaq feed! I don't understand why people don't give a thumbs up when there's a fantastic video like this! How hard is it to click the Thumbs Up Button before you even watch a video just to make sure you don't forget and go on to the next one!! And at the end all that Chit Chat was kind of rude to the people who were asking a question and I think we forget that when there's a video being made they're worse than kids in a classroom drawing out a substitute teacher!

Great video! It is so interesting how many companies there were that no longer exist. I had no idea Waterford went of business. I was lucky enough to have people give me some for wedding presents. Can you provide the names of the 4 books and authors in the video. I cannot catch them and I have rewatched several times. Thank you.

What does it mean when a vintage piece of glass is heavy and has got a flat bottom 🤔

Is there a market for a whole set of pink Windsor depression glass? How would you price something like that?

I just looked up you had over 2,000 views on this video I'm just a couple comments... If you're using your cell phone to watch this it's so easy to leave a comment using the microphone on your cell phone keyboard. A lot of people don't realize there's a microphone on that keyboard but it's hiding underneath the :-) button on a Samsung Galaxy the last row bottom left birth button. Hold that :-) button down and a pop-up screen shows up with the microphone. I use it all the time it's just like talking to the person who made the video! I think you should start your own KZfaq channel and every week to discuss a certain type of glass. I would subscribe if you started a channel and it's very easy to do. Get your cell phone out and get the KZfaq Channel. .. if you look at the top of your screen on your cell phone you'll see a little camera icon click on it and you can do a video right from that camera button or if you've made a video and it's stored on your camera or on the cloud it will show you things that are on your camera on your phone and then you can load it up to KZfaq. If you have a computer you can get really fancy and do all kinds of things but I started my own KZfaq channel about orchids at the suggestion of a lady that was helping me when I first started to buy orchids 3 years ago. I wanted to show her something rather than just ask questions and she said just started KZfaq channels and you'll have a history of your orchids over the years and then I could see what you're talkin about. So when you watch a KZfaq video and there's comments if you press on the little circle with the picture of the person in that little circle or the initial of their first name it will take you to their KZfaq channel and you can see if they have anything posted. That's all you can find my channel or just put my name in the word orchids are house plants into the KZfaq search engine and you'll find me. And the search engine is that little microscope at the top of your screen. You can type in a real person KZfaq channel or just the word like depression glass and you'll be surprised at what turns up! Thank you all for producing this video!
