I said it before. Everyone in louisiana knows the State Title in the highest division is either going To Barbe or Through Barbe. Congrats to both those teams and all the players. Barbe is proof that hard work and faith in God make you a winner in life. Love what that program stands for.

Josh just cranked a moon shot last night for his first HR of the season, and it came at a really clutch time in the game vs. Georgia… both the Pearson boys can rake, if Josh stays at Lsu for his senior season, it’ll be fun to see these 2 bro’s on the same team.

Happy for the kids. I was there in sulphure my senior year, but was on the losing end. This entire video confirmed to me how important a solid locker room relationship is. My team didnt have that. We had “little cliques”. We werent one team. We were groups. A bunch of “pick me” guys that would only work hard when coaches were around. The high school i went to stole the love i had for the game. For many reasons. So bad that seconds after realizing my career in baseball was over i didnt even care. Didnt eveb try to play college ball. Just focused on my studies and graduated college. Sometimes i wish i could go back and do some things differently, but hey, im sure we all do.
