THIS IS INCREDIBLE?????? the transitions, the label of "traitor" over wilburs face, the last bit with the ghost of a uniform, tommys salute, karl on the "who tells your story" being the only person other than wilbur and tommy not a silhouette. this is so good i am in awe.

My headcannon is that l'manburg actually had a whole army but the people we see are the only ones who made it out alive

I love this too much. The fact that Wilbur is AWARE that he will forever be remembered as a traitor to his country, even though he was once a leader, a brother figure, and a friend, he secured his role as a traitor the day he blew up the country. The 'who lives who dies who tells your story' showing how big of a part every character has, dead or alive, how Karl is important to their tale and knows everything. Wilbur knowing and telling Tommy how important he is, and how everyone is watching his greatness as he goes. Tommy still seeing Wilbur as not just some traitor but a leader, hero, his brother. The fact that Wilbur salutes Tommy one final time, a salute that shows respect, and a goodbye. This is Wilbur and Tommy's way of saying "Make me proud" and "I will." This could also support the theory that Tommy is lying to Dream to make him bring back Wilbur, Tommy knows that Wilbur wants him to do the right thing and to bring peace, to sing his unfinished symphony, and Tommy plans to sing it with him. Sorry did I rant too much-

There’s so much I want to say!!! The transitions from frame to frame, the lip syncing, the facial expressions, detailed art, and the concept as a whole is incredible and well timed!!! I got shivers and can’t stop rewatching it. My favorite part in particular is the L’manberg uniform ghosting on Wilbur before tommy left and history has its eyes on you over it, so powerful.

This is amazing- the way we see Wilbur being covered by the label of a traitor. The way his actions and his history shines "brighter" (white lining) over his own, darker and more complicated self. And the way Tommy disappears in the end, because we still see him as he is. But there is no telling, what our eyes will see over him, after his story gets told.
