A great gift of our Nawab to the people of the state was the establishment of the erstwhile state of Bahawalpur, compared to the progress made by Bahawalpur as a state and province in seventy-five years. The erstwhile state of Bahawalpur had joined Pakistan as a province and not a division of Punjab province Bahawalpur state is dominated by Saraiki speakers, Punjabi speakers are also present in large numbers Saraiki is a language with a separate language and culture, it should not be called Punjabi language, in the state of Bahawalpur, the majority speak the state dialect of Saraiki. God willing, very soon we the people of Bahawalpur state will get independence from Punjab and restore our separate Bahawalpur province.
