If someone doesn't say "ABRA CADABRA YOU SON OF A BITCH" in the Doctor Strange movie, I will be disappointed.

Seriously, I dunno if one "thank you" is enough but, thank you so much for all the time and effort that goes into these videos, they are pretty awesome and really helpful for anyone trying to get into comics or to catch up to date

Dr. Strange has always been my favorite and I love his original comic origin, but I think the movie handled it a little better. Especially the part where the Ancient One refused to train him, not the other way around. I think it was a better character arc.

Did I learn anything? Are you kidding, dude? I mean, good grief, these comic writers! I seems like the more convoluted and crazy they can make their plots, the happier they are. Yikes! It's a real roller coaster ride with them. Strange gains his powers, then looses them, then regains them, then looses them, gain, looses, gains, looses. AHHHHH! Make up your mind, people! I mean, can anyone actually follow these plot progressions and still know what the hell is going on? Because just listening to your description of these plots is enough to make my brain explode. Excuse me while I go pick up my brain pieces and glue them back together.

Classic Dr Strange was more powerful than any cosmic being you can think of. Right now, they dumb down his powers because he had too much.

I don't think it ever occurred to me that Secret Wars 2015 was a soft reboot. Aside from everyone going back to doing what they do, they kinda pulled a Crisis on Infinite Earths by bringing in everyone they like from other universes before making one home universe.

He was introduced in the comics as a guy that rescued the Defenders at one point. My point is this- who do you think is more powerful, Dr. Strange or Papa Hagg? And which do you think is really supreme?

You forgot the part where he travels into space in search of magic. Or when Loki tricked him into giving up the sorceror Supreme position to him and then Strange convincing The Sentry to storm Asgard.

I still don't understand what the sorcerer supreme does, since I never really read his comics. Does he defend all magic? Or protects earth from any magical threat? Or is the go to go for any magical question?
