Have you ever been curious about Islam, the 2nd most dominant religion in the world?
Islam is the youngest of the world’s three great monotheistic religions , and today it is the second largest religion in the world with more than 1.5 billion followers.
It was promulgated by Muhammad in Arabia in the 7th Century.
The word Islam means “surrender” in Arabic, in this case surrender to the one and only God, Allah.
This video covers the origin and spread of Islam and its evolution over time till the 21st century. We hope you like it.

We have been striving to work on this channel (5 Minutes), producing high quality content that is also concise in as little as Minutes. We thought that this could be interesting to learn curated information in a very short period of time, especially given the quick pace of today's world. However, unfortunately, after 1 year of consistent and patient work and regular posting of at least 1 video every 2 weeks, we have been disappointed to see that the channel has not really taken off on KZfaq. With Less than 1,000 subs and as little as 300 views per video, we see no other choice but having to halt and put an end to this project we really loved and enjoyed! We involved different KZfaq experts to help us propagate the knowledge offered by this channel but the results have been modest. We understood that such low traction so far may be due to changes done by KZfaq on its ranking algorithms to compete with platforms such as TikTok in entertainment videos (dance, music, fun, cooking, sports...). Although this is a hypothesis and is definitely not verified, we are unable to pursue this project for more than this past year given that it didn't really achieve its number 1 goal, which was reaching as much people as possible around the world and disseminating knowledge in a compelling way. We will still be publishing our last 3-4 videos over the next couple months. We are writing this to ask for your support in case there is anything you can do, such as sharing, liking, posting on other platforms, or contributing to our Patreon page (www.patreon.com/5_minutes). Please speak more slowly and lower the volume of the music. And having text on the screen at the same time makes it even more difficult to keep up with the speaker. Otherwise, the content of the video was very good.

Very brief video, somewhat informative but 2 observations are due here: 1- you have a lisp that contorts some letters 2- your pronunciation of names sounds distorted. It would benefit you to learn how to pronounce ethinc names for the ethnic group to follow you. Caliph Ali is an example here, had i not know that name i would not have known whom your talking about, and i struggled to catch the name of the person who is credited with preserving the Qur'aan

Good informing video and well put together. However you end with "the faith historical advocates for peace" which was proceeded by half of the video explaining all the wars they were involved in.

As someone who instructs speakers on how to present, it's a really bad practice to have paragraphs of text on screen while a person is speaking unless it's sparing and adds to what the speaker (VO in this case) is saying. People automatically start reading and stop listening. I keep having to pause or rewind to get it all in. Pro tip. Loving your content, thank you!

Do not say anything that is evidence of your ignorance. Just type “Hira Cave” on Google. Otherwise, there is the cave in which the revelation came down to the Prophet Muhammad, east of Mecca, at the top of “Mountain al-Nour” or “Mountain al-Islam.” sorry for mentioning this

That's a funny way of saying caravan robber. 1:28 it was unpopular because he started a cult that was based off of Christianity that he made up as he went along. 3:30 I had to laugh at this point. A golden age of learning, literature, and culture in Spain's Muslim occupation? Spain was known to be a backwater until Muslims were finally ejected from the country and could only then start to become one of the world's respected powers. 3:55 the House of Wisdom is a known myth. The concept of there being any central or leading source of literature or scientific development in Muslim lands is a complete myth. No such places ever existed, at least that didn't exist before Muslim invasion. And those few places were all destroyed during Muslim reign. 7:00 Muslim nations gaining independence from western power? You've got that backwards. Western countries are fighting to keep from falling to Islamic rule. And Islam is deeply rooted in terrorism. Violent subjugation is a central aspect of Islam. It has NEVER advocated for peace and only proclaims as such in places where it is weak. As soon as Muslims gain power, they violently take over and force conversion by the sword.

Islam 101 in a nutshell ... The quran is originally a christian preaching book used by the anti-trinitarian christians called nazarenes, they are called "nasara" (نَصَرَ) in the quran, while the trinitarian christians whom they hated are called "mushrikuns" (مشركون) ie "associators" or "polytheists" because they associate Jesus to God (which is "shirk" شِرْك that opposes to Allah's unicity called "tawheed" تَوْحِيدُ )

True Christianity is One God. Jesus was the Father manifested in the flesh. All other "Christian" groups are Catholic in origin. Meaning " Trinity " believe. Just as Muslim was created by Catholic Church . There is One Lord-Jesus! He is the God of the Old Testament.

Everyone who watched this video would benefit from reading/listening to the book “the Myth of the Andalusian Paradise”. Christians and Jews where second and third class citizens in their own conquered nation and were humiliated, kidnapped, killed and suffered all forms of persecution by their muslim conquerors. If it was a true golden age of peace prosperity and coexistence the people wouldn’t have a reason to rise up against the conquerors and take Spain back would they? All the so called muslim scientists and writers were forcibly converted to islam.
