When RM works with Jimin, most of the times it's because he is helping with translating the lyrics.

Jimin had he shortest time as a trainee, and when he signed up it was for dance, he had no vocal training before debuting. So he put in extra hours to catch up, barely sleeping. That must have been incredible pressure on him. So in his early days he felt insecure about singing. And he is a perfectionist.

In a way, I think the company has held Jimin back for years. I’m sure they never imagined he would be the global influencer that he has become. I don’t know if someone on the production team just didn’t like him, but there were numerous times that other members wanted to collaborate with Jimin and were denied by the company (V and SUGA specifically - and they never want him to get too close to JK) So - he has asked and asked and was never given a chance. So now he’s going to release his solo album and they are going to lose their minds. He has come so far and I agree with you, he has changed the most, in his outward personality and looks, even his voice has been honed into a different genre. He has even said how his early debut days he tried to exude this heavy hitting masculine vibe which really wasn’t him. And like V said in one of the interviews, there wasn’t much music for Jimin, it didn’t suit his voice or personality. I’m glad he is releasing FACE and is going to Face both himself and how he Faces everything in his life. I am also glad that RM is listed on so many of his new songs - He has been such a huge support for Jimin. It will be most interesting. I love his concept photos thorns and all. Suga wrote a few songs for Jimin but the company would not let him sing them. Fly Away was one of the songs that the company refused for Jimin. Jimin did a demo on it, but Suga said he lost it. The person who did sing it, did a beautiful job but I would have like to hear Jimin's demo. So looking forward to hearing Jimin's solo album. All the BTS members are so handsome and talented and I love them all but there is that something special about Jimin called the "IT" factor.

Jimin being one of the best artists currently put immense pressure and challenge on him and the constant comparison to other people can mess with his mind set and often makes him doubt himself a lot and I think he doest understand how big he is now and how talented he is and unfortunately some of the boys contributed in him doubting himself by not encouraging him enough and the unnecessary constant competing with him trying to prove they can do better than him remember jimin was already a threat to the boys when he joined because he was already highly skilled in dancing so they constant competing with him trying to catch up to him in dance and kind of bringing his vocal skills down so that created a lot of doubt in his head little did he know that he will become one of the best in the game but he has grown and become extremely confident in his vocals and the vocal lessons he was taking recently really put him high above he is a beast now unstoppable vocally

НамДжун тоже с большим уважением относится к Чимину, с большой теплотой и обожанием. А насчёт неуверенности, которая появляется у Чимина (слава Богу, сейчас это не так часто проявляется), мне кажется это произошло во времена его преддебюта и первых двух лет как участника группы. Чимина всегда окружала любовь родителей, в школе его любили и уважали и преподаватели, тренеры и ученики. Став трейни, ему пришлось в очень короткий срок проходить подготовку и переучивание , причём, в большинстве своём, самостоятельно, т.к. не хватало финансирования. И БШХ ,и особенно СонДык считали, что он ещё не готов к дебюту, а когда он дебютировал, то был под постоянным давлением с их стороны. Ко всему прочему Чимину поручили роль накаченного мачо, ( мускулы BTS называли его ребята) совсем не свойственную для мягкого характера Чимина. Да он может быть жёстким, да у него стальной стержень и железная воля, но а повседневном общении он добрый, мягкий и ранимый человек. Чимин очень ответственный, и когда его назначили ответственным за все высокие партии , он самостоятельно и без устали занимался, оттачивая всё до мелочей, лишая себя и сна и отдыха. Не забывайте и о том, что с самого дебюта и по сей день Чимин незаслуженно получает огромное количество самого изощрённого хейта и угрозы жизни, да он научился любить себя и принимать таким, какой он есть, он стал не так жёстко переживать свои ошибки, но осадок, сомнения, сожаления всё равно возникают время от времени. В последнем своем альбоме ребята стоят на фоне пробитых пулями щитов, где пули олицетворяют хейт и, как мне кажется, ещё и перенесённую боль, так вот у Чимина он пробит больше всего, до сквозных дыр и я Поражаюсь тому, как при всём этом он смог сохранить любовь к окружающим, доброту, великодушие, чувство юмора и даже детскую непосредственность и чистоту. Помимо несомненного таланта Чимина и как танцора, и как вокалиста, его душевные качества также привлекают миллионы сердец. Я всегда восхищаюсь Чимином и обожаю его, и я благодарна вам за вашу любовь к Чимину, за ваши видео о нём, за то что вы всегда его поддерживаете. Спасибо большое.

Jimin is a perfectionist. This type is good, but coming with the weakness, easily down when things arent going their way. Jimin awares he has no background in singing, and didnt get proper trainning in the beginning era, made him insecure. More he was the only target of hatreds when his miss in a live performance. As can be seen, Jimin is always shy to sing publicly till now, coz this insecurity, but when coming to dance, at any time anywhere, he can swag without hesitation. Cant we imagine, how is Jimin struggle? Being a perfectionist with tons of hatreds? Good Jimin is smart and strong, till he reaches at his level. Bravo!!! 👏 Hope Jimin explores his voice more and more as he is a talented. All the best for Jimin's Face. Fingers cross that can be a good start for his next career. 🙏

Great reaction. I think Suga has a soft spot for Jimin. I think he sees Jimin's potential and wanted him to be PM for BE to have him get more experience. I also like Namjoon's opinion on Jimin's writing skills. Jimin is very detail oriented and you can see it in all the prep he has done for his album. I don't know what the songs will be like, but I know I will love them all💜💜💜

DT, I think Jimin is the kind of person who knows what quality is and what is classed as amazing/perfect so its hard for him to accept when he feels he falls short, even though when he's not at his best he's still pretty darn amazing. I think it's just the burden of being a perfectionist. Anything not perfect or top level is not good enough in his eyes. That can come across as insecure but I'd phrase it as him being his harshest critic while striving for excellence.

I think the insecurity that Jimin felt started when he was still a rookie. It was from the fact that among the seven of them, he was the last to be included in the group even if he started before V. He was not even sure if he will ever debut with the group, and when he did, he only had 6 months of training which did not even include voice lessons. Jk and V had voice lesson (I think also Jin had it), but Jimin had to learn singing by listening to the two (Jk and V) while they are practicing. At one point (according to his interview), he wanted to sing like Jk to be able to stand at par with them. Even in dancing, even if he had ballet , modern contemporary and hip-hop training, it is not the same with the dancing required to the group. Another fact is that he feels that he is smallest (although he is as tall as Suga) among the group; plus Jk's jokes on his looks (they are purely jokes) and the negative comments of some nitizens did not help to increase his self-esteem. He "punished" himself by training hard, honing his dancing skills and improving his vocal range even if it would mean sleeping only for 2 hours. He also tried to put himself into strict diet which resulted to him collapsing during practice and concert. But still his efforts were not appreciated by toxic haters and the bashing keeps going on. He even felt that he has no real friends anymore; that it seems like he has to pay for them in order to be accepted. All these things he was able to pour out to his parents and luckily, they were very supportive of him. Now Jimin has a name of his own, aside from being a BTS member, he is recognized by his talents and good personality. If we see a goofy and noisy Jimin, I think behind those smiles and laughters are scars of the past that made him the strong person that he is notwithstanding his fragile looks. He deserves all the accolades that he is receiving because he worked real hard for it. He deserves to be happy. His scars now are his trophy over the battle that had won.

Hey DT, for sure. jimin and yoonhi have a deep connection going on from their debut days. Jimin really looks up Yoongles as his mentor, and Yoongles on the other hand see his as his annoying little brother. Jimin is the only one who can hand Yoongle's sassyness right back to him. Its hillarious to watch. Often the mighty yoongi gets frustrated and grumpy 🤣🤣🤣 Especially their bickering videos and their Run BTS fights🤣 lot of Jimin's tattoos are inspired by Yoongi's lyrics. Whenever you ask what JM's favourite line he would always quote Yoongi's rap lines. You have watched other guy's interaction videos with Jimin and left the best out. DT you know Serendipity and Filter are not written nor produced by Jimin only singing. Promise is his, Friend and Zero o'clock He and V did most of the lyrics but also some help from others. Filter is really a match made for Jimin no one can replicate that performance.

From the very beginning there were many fans of Jungkook and V and even Jin who said that Jimin didn't have a good voice. Jimin came into Big Hit with little time to train and most of that training involved dancing as he was a contemporary dancer and mostly they were doing rap at the beginning so hip hop dancing was what they needed. Jimin was smooth with his dancing and he like always dances to the tips of his fingers and end of his toes. That meant that he was usually a beat late and a bit off time with everyone else. So they worked hard on training him to work with others to make them dance in unison. So even though Jungkook, V and Jin had private voice lessons Jimin was usually working in the dance studio but he often said that he would stand at the door listening to their voice lessons hoping to glean a little bit for himself. He always felt he was not good enough of a singer and it did not help that others pushed that thought into his head by often writing comments on their early mvs that Jimin was the weak link, that Jimin was always cracking live, and that he would use the backing track to sing during the chorus. I think Jimin suffered from low self esteem because he had so little time to train even though we as his fans believe that he was given so little time because they knew he had the talent he just needed to go out there and hone his skills.

A lot of people have a self imposed perfectionism in them--- and therefore not feeling good enough, as a result.of some childhood trauma. I can't speak for Jimin but in my case, when my parents were divorcing when l was 10, l entered what would become a lifetime of perfectionism...and wondering if l was ever good enough. Straight A's were never enough. Hours on homework...never enough... achievements never enough. But deep inside it may have been the inner child trying to correct some fault she thought was her own. 🤷‍♀️ I dunno...just my viewpoint on it.

I think one of the members said Jimin got everything through hard work, nothing came naturally to him. Unlike Jungkook who can start something new at a high level of expertise, I don't think Jimin is "naturally" talented. He worked relentlessly to get to where he is. So, I think that's why he is so obsessed with practice and feels if he had worked a few hours more it would have been perfect. I have mad admiration for Jimin and his dedication. It's very hard to keep on trying when it doesn't come at once, but the Jimin we know was already a beast physically at debut. Yet, I think it really was not an easy road for him, hence his fears. My 2 cents.
