Both Omni-Man and Homelander are extremely fascinating characters to me it's because almost like Goku they're like Superman but different and thus are fresh takes on the Superman Character Type.

One of the things you guys forgot to mention is that unlike Superman, Omniman (as well as the other Viltrumites) do not have laser vision, x ray vision, or freeze breath

The reason it works is because he has a Vegeta arc! Prince of Sayians, long life span, came to earth to take the dragon balls and become invincible. Is now a father of two and has died to protect his family!

Comic Omni-Man slaughters the guardians by himself without even trying. Then by the time Mark goes back in time and warns the guardians they only beat him because they had help from mark and green ghost used his phasing ability on Nolan. Omniman is/was a beast.
